NOTICE OF APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR THE TRADE OF
CONSTRUCTION CRAFT LABORER.
The Contractors-Laborers Training And Apprenticeship Program will accept
applications for the employment as an apprentice between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and
12:00 p.m. M-F, at the office, located at: 5626 Sorensen Parkway, Omaha, NE 68152
Application forms will be available at the office of the Contractors-Laborers Training
and Apprenticeship Program office between the above hours.
Applicants must fully meet the following requirement to be eligible for
consideration.
1. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Proof of birth date is required and
valid form of photo ID.
2. Applicants need to be a high school graduate or equivalent and be willing
to attend classes in the trade for 144 hours per year, must furnish HS/GED
transcripts and Social Security Card. Bring your
HS/GED transcripts, photo ID and SSN Card at time of application.
Each applicant who qualifies fully with the minimum requirements above will be
contacted to schedule an Aptitude Test. If passed, will be notified of the time, date
and place of interview.
Factors to be considered during the applicant’s interview shall be, but not be limited
to: motivation, ambition, willingness to accept diretions, etc.
Starting salary is based on a percentage basis per hour with increases after
completing each term requirement providing the apprentice attends class and fulfills
his/her work schedule. The employer offers the following benefits: Training, Health
