Project Coordinator and EstimatorGem Buildings
GEM Buildings is seeking to add great people to our Team in the following positions.
We are seeking a professional person with great management skills. The Project Coordinator will assist in leading project teams, coordinating, and ensuring the satisfactory completion of multiple Design-Build and Division 5 projects. They will be responsible for client relations and satisfaction, job cost accounting, and vendor/supplier relations. Duties include developing and sustaining project schedules, maintaining a budget, and working with project team members to assure productivity and timeliness, including staffing, employee relations, adherence to company policies, etc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with clients, vendors/suppliers, and all departments within the company. Must have basic commercial construction knowledge and background. Will be expected to effectively work with vendors/suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and material procurement. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely submission of all paperwork through receipt of final billing. Promoting teamwork, cooperation, and open communication among all those involved with a project is a required function of this position.
The purpose of an Estimator is to provide an efficient quality/profitable estimate on time with a clear descriptive of the scope of work to our external/internal customers. It is expected that each Estimator works with the utmost integrity/honesty.
