Pepperidge Farm, a division of Campbell Soup Company is recruiting for the following positions:
Quality Assurance Coordinator
Maintains the plant documentation systems, i.e. control of quality systems documents and programs and formulas (Optiva, SAP and floor formulas). Coordinates the plant internal audit/inspection and corrective/preventive action programs. Lead commercialization process for new products from special batch phase through initial production, involved with scaling of ingredients. Champions plant food defense team and oversees ingredient, packaging and finished product traceability and mock recall programs. Coordinates product showings, physical, chemical, & analytical testing of ingredients, process and finished products, includes shelf-life verification. Investigates plant nonconforming product incidents and consumer complaints, conducting root cause analysis and leading corrective action efforts. Coordinates HACCP and food quality risk assessments, audits and
scheduled reviews Provides quality training and awareness to plant employees. BS (4 year degree), Food Science or related field, 2 years experience in food manufacturing preferred, practical knowledge and application of food safety principles (ex. Regulatory, HACCP, GMPs, SQF, food microbiology).
Quality Assurance Manager
Lead and manage the entire range of Quality programs, as defined in Campbell's Global Quality Policies. Position has specific compliance, process, and consumer quality responsibilities. Ensure that all food safety and quality requirements are met, including site standards, company policies and regulations. Position will manage a matrix relationship with Plant Manager, to influence senior management on alignment of Quality strategies, Quality annual objectives, and Plant project plans.
Expert knowledge in Sanitation and GMP Practices, familiarity with Pest Control programs and techniques. Knowledge and general business acumen to support and influence manufacturing, including best practices and innovative technologies. Knowledgeable in Statistical Process Control programs and Process capability studies. Minimum BS Food Science (or related degree), and a minimum 10-15 years of food industry quality plant/systems experience with demonstrated achievement in Quality leadership and Continuous Improvement tools.

Part Time Accounting Intern
Duties include: Inventory Counts and Reconciliations, Inventory Variance Reporting, Temp Invoices, Freight Invoices & Reporting, Stockroom Receiving, Annual Stockroom Cycle Counts, Stocking Stockroom Parts, and other various small duties. Qualifications: Ideal candidate is an Accounting major in their junior year of the program. Due to the training involved, we request a 2-year Commitment. Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office programs. Experience in costing, inventory control and freight processing preferred. Ability to work independently, lift up to 40 lbs. Great written/verbal communication with attention to detail is essential. $15.00 per hour.
