Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Electric Shop Supervisor, the incumbent will perform electrical work at the journey level and will be responsible for installing, operating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the electrical service from the 13,200 Volt main distribution system down to all low voltage services and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Required a High School Diploma/GED and four years progressively responsible experience in the electrical trade, two years of which must have been in the installation and repair of 13,200 volt service switch gear and feeder systems, controlling wire, and motors and motor circuitry of 30 horsepower or more.
Journey certification rquired.
Valid non-commercial class "C" or equivalent driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience at the apprenticeship level or above preferred. At least 3 yrs of working with high voltage 13,200 volts preferred.

Salary: Pay Range 13 (starting at $51,000) based on the University System of Maryland Pay Program.
